If you are the resident of SISS eligible countries and want to pursue your master’s degree, you are welcome to apply for scholarships offered by the Swedish Government. Sweden Government offers a large number of fully-funded scholarships (about 300 scholarships) for the academic year 2020/2021 in various fields of study.

Location: Sweden

Key dates:

  • Deadline for applying to university: January 15, 2020
  • Deadline for scholarship: February 10-20, 2020
  • Result announcement of the university: April 03, 2020
  • Scholarship result announcement: 24 April 2020

Number of scholarship: 300

Duration: two-years

Benefits: 

  • Monthly Stipend of SEK 10000/month
  • Tuition fees given to the university
  • Travel expense (SEK 15000)
  • Membership of SI Alumni and Future Global Leaders networks.
  • Health and Accident insurance.

Note: You should pay the expenses for family members and application fee.

Eligibility

You should :

  • Be a resident of a SISS eligible country
  • Have Three thousands hours of work experience including part-time, full time, internship and voluntary work,
  • Strong leadership experience.
  • Pay university admission fee
  • Fulfill the English language requirement,
    • if you have a bachelor degree that medium of instruction is English, you meet the requirement. Students from India or Pakistan having a bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer science, Computer Application, Medicine, Pharmacy, Natural Science or technology, meet the English requirement, except for the bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a university degree from Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology.
    • If English is the main subject of your degree, you meet the English requirement
    • International exam score, IELT 6.5, TOEFL 90, Cambridge 90,
  • Not have attained any degree from Sweden Universities or permanent residency in Sweden.
  • Not have been cumulatively two years or more in Sweden.
  • Not be awarded Swedish scholarship before 2018.
  • Not be enrolled in Sweden Universities.

How to Apply

You can follow the steps below to apply for Sweden Scholarship:

  • Check and find the Eligible Master Program
  • Search your desired program Here, click on add and Create an account. Then follow the steps of uploading your documents and Paying the application fee by Master Card or Wire transfer.
  • Apply for SI Scholarship. The application will be available after February 10, 2020 – 20- 02-2020

Documents needed:

  • Bachelor degree equivalent to a Swedish bachelor degree ( in official language you studied and in English)
  • Transcripts of completed grades and degrees
  • English Language requirement proof (signed and stamped)
  • Passport copy
  • Two Letters of recommendation (at least one from work )
  • Letter of Intent
  • Update CV
