 KAIST Scholarship in Korea (Funded)

KAIST offers Global IT Technology program in Korea. There are fully funded scholarships available for those who are seeking to continue their master degree or PhD in ICT. This scholarship is designed for the university professors and government officials, researchers and IT experts.

KAIST Scholarship Details:

Start of the application: March 27, 2018

Benefits:

The scholarship provides the following expenses:

  • Tuition fee
  • Living expenses 1,500,000 KRW / month (approximately 1350 USD)
  • One-way flight ticket
  • National health insurance

Eligibility and requirements

The applicants are eligible if they are:

  • Public institutions employees
  • ICT Researchers
  • Government officials
  • Not Korean citizens

The applicants must meet have:

  • A bachelor/ master degree in ICT fields
  • Good knowledge of English language ( TOEFL 83/IELTS 6.5, TEPS or TOEIC not before April 16, 2016)

Note: the applicants must obtain an average GPA of over 2.0 out of 4.3

Applicants can apply online following the two steps below:

  • Completing online application and pay the application fee of KRW 80,000 ( 80 USD)
  • Send the hard copy of your application and documents to KAIST ITTP office Graduate Admissions Team, KAIST
