Opportunity Description

School of life sciences fosters education, research, and innovation in engineering and biology to develop an understanding of the living world and solve biomedical problems. The School has offered a short-term research program for the upcoming academic year. The applicants will work closely with faculty and scientific staff, participate in scientific seminars, workshops, social activities, BBQ at a professor’s home and excursion to the CERN and, etc. provide the requested documents and apply for this fully-funded program in Geneva Switzerland.

 Eligibilities:

  • Applicants must have completed two years of Bachelor’s degree up to the first year of master degree.
  • Applicants must be registered in a university in the following fields;

Biology, Biophysics, Chemistry, Bio-Engineering, Bio-Informatics, Quantitative Biology, Genetics courses, or related areas.

  • Applicants must have an excellent academic record (minimum GPA of 3.75 out of 4.0 or higher).
  • Applicants must have completed two years of bachelor degree work up to the first year of their master degree.
  • Must have a deep interest in conducting a career in life sciences.

 

Required documents:

  • Update Curriculum Vitae about 1-2 pages.
  • Letter of motivation about 750 words.
  • Reason for chosen the lab (describe in 2 or 3 sentences for each lab).
  • Academic or equivalent official school transcript, including the class and grades list.
  • Two recommendation letters.
  • Life sciences background is essential, and having experience in the same area is an advantage.
