Job description:

      • preparing and making working plan of related municipality, and its confirmation
      • implementing the goals and municipality working plan according to the programs of IDLG.
      • Consultation with municipality deputy about all executive affairs and policies
      • Offering services, managing the work affairs, and management
      • Monitoring and controlling the offices and all programs, projects, services and other activities of municipalities.
      • implementing the rules and regulations of municipality governance and practicing the legal competencies
      • issuing license and work certification, delay and cancellation of them when the legal terms are violated.
      • Ensuring the obtaining construction legal charter and its destruction
      • taking mandatory steps for protecting and keeping municipality properties and natural resources of municipalities
      • hearing and resolving the the residents problems regarding the municipality related affairs.
      • formulation of a complete plan and on time work to increase revenue source, growing and collecting the income, widening the green areas, saving environment and using them for development plan implementation.
      • accepting the donations as a representative of IDLG.
      • advancement of the culture of participation and urbanism among the city residents
      • consolidation, distinction and registration of private and governmental properties.
      • construction and maintenance of public constructions of the city
      • creating a friendly relationship with governmental and non-governmental organizations based on the country rules.
      • cooperation and coordination with other directorate of IDLG and provinces of country and collaborative work with districts municipalities to create and organize a municipality association of IDLG>
      • Ensuring the implementation of other activities.

Qualification

      • Be an Afghan citizen
      • have completed the age 25.
      • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree. applicants with higher degrees are given priority.
      • Have at least three years of work experience
      • Leadership and management ability
      • Be able to identify and provide the solution for the problems, be able to make strategies, and detailed plan of the city. experience in challenges management
      • ability in presenting economic plans, revenue grow and strengthening public relations and people inclusion in urban activities
      • No criminal record
      • Have good behavior and reputation.
