The Adobe Research Fellowship recognizes and provides training and internship opportunities to exceptional graduate students anywhere in the world, undertaking extraordinary research in areas of computer science important to Adobe. Eligibility criteria

In order to qualify for the 2021 Adobe Research Fellowship, students must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Students can apply from any country worldwide.
  • Be enrolled as a full-time graduate student at a university.
  • Remain an active, full-time student in a Ph.D. program for the full duration of 2022 or annul the award.
  • Cannot have a relative working for Adobe Research.

Selection

A committee of Adobe researchers will review all applicants and will select the recipients at their discretion.

Recipients’ selection criteria

  • Their research (creative, effective, important, and realistic in scope),
  • Students’ work contribution to Adobe Research  their technical expertise (ability to build intricate computer programs), and
  • Their personal skills (problem-solving ability, communication, leadership, organizational skills, and teamwork ability).
  • Students may be invited for phone interviews for internship opportunities before Fellowship winner selection.

Applications must include:

  • A research outline containing two pages of text and figures but excluding citations. At least half a page should clarify how the student’s research could contribute to Adobe.
  • Three letters of recommendation from those who know the students’ work. One letter should come from the student’s advisor.
  • A Curriculum Vitae.
  • A transcript of current and past academic records both at undergraduate and graduate levels.
