There are two types of scholarships offered as BGS:

1. Beijing Government Scholarship- first class: Students with this scholarship pay only 5000/year as tuition.
2. Beijing Government Scholarship Second Class: Students with this scholarship pay half tuition:
   1. Undergraduate: 13000RMB/year
   2. Master degree: 15000 RMB/year
   3. Doctoral degree: 18000/year

Who can apply?

• be a citizen of a country other than China
• Have good health situation
• Having no criminal record
• meet the admission requirement of university with GPA ⊇3.0/5.0
• Meet the language requirement (Chinese language proficiency for Chinese taught programs, English language proficiency for English programs (IELTs 6.5, TOEFL 80 or have studied at least two years in English).
