DSM, in partnership with One Young World, offers the DSM Brighter Living scholarship- Resources & Circularity to young leaders to attend One Young World Summit 2020 in Munich, Germany. The main objective of this scholarship is to create brighter lives for young leaders and work through sustainable development. In addition, DSM and one young world want to connect their competencies in Life Sciences and Material Sciences to create solutions for nourishment, protection, and improvement of performance.

It is a great opportunity for young leaders who are working to improve the transition from a linear to a circular and bio-based economy to attend one of the world’s largest conferences organized annually- One young world Summit.

Scholarship

Eligibilities:

  • The applicant’s age should be between 18-30.
  • International applicants are eligible to apply.
  • Must have at least 3 to 5 years of work experience.

Evaluation criteria:

  • Applicant’s commitment to providing positive change.
  • Leadership qualification.
  • Effective and innovation solution proof.
  • Anyone who generates positive change in one of the following areas:
    • Materials innovation and design, redesigning or designing new materials by focusing on one of DSM’s five circularity drivers. (reduce, replace, extend, design and recover).
    • Entrepreneurship in building and construction, textiles, heavy marine and fishing industry, electronics, automotive, food packaging, and 3D printing.
    • Idea advocacy and shaping through awareness-raising and voice leading in the transition through the circular and bio-based economy.
    • Initiative on waste.
    • New technologies usages to acknowledged radical transparency and provide the materials with high quality and value.
