Opportunity Description

Overview

Application for UN Women Art Project for Afghan Empowerment is now open. The UN Women is initiating a campaign featuring the work of women artists and exhibiting designs that promote women’s empowerment in Afghanistan. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, UN Women believes face masks are here to stay. So, it is inviting women artists to turn a challenge into an opportunity, and develop designs where we can use masks to advance women’s empowerment in a gender-equal environment.

Therefore, it is looking for design entries to be printed on cloth face masks which will be freely distributed to thousands of Afghans, to promote women’s rights and to spark a dynamic social movement supporting gender equality in Afghanistan.
