After each of the three nominees is interviewed, a final candidate will be chosen as the WFUNA Young Leader of the Year.

What is the 2020’s theme?

The WFUNA Young Leader of 2020 theme is centered on highlighting the role young people play in responding to the COVID-19 outbreak and marking the 75th Anniversary of the United Nations amid a moment of challenges for the whole world. Given that the challenges are widespread ranging from the most immediate health implications to the long term impacts on the economy and social structures, our responses both as an individual or society will make a difference.
