Introduction

Fujian Normal University of China is inviting applications for its principal/president’s tuition-free scholarship from international undergraduate, master, and Ph.D. students for the academic year 2020.

Levels of study: Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral

Eligibility conditions

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following degree and age requirements:

• Hold a high school degree and be no more than 30 when applying for the undergraduate programs;
• Possess a bachelor’s degree and be no more than 40 while applying for the master’s degree;
• Be a master’s degree graduate and no more than 45 when applying for the doctoral level.

Required Application Documents

• Fujian Normal University Application Form.
• Copy of passport photo (personal information page).
• Scanned copy of passport (photo page).
• Certified highest academic diploma and transcript.
• Physical Examination Certificate for Foreigners” (printed uniformly by the Chinese Health and Quarantine Department).
• Study plan (no lesser than 500 words).
• Two letters of recommendation from (professors, associate professor or relevant educational institution)
• Copy of HSK certificate (if any)
• Applicants below the age of 18 must submit relevant legal documents of entrusted guardianship in China.

Note: All materials should be sent through email to the university in Chinese or English languages. The application materials submitted by the applicant will not be returned, regardless of the application result.

Scholarship coverage/benefits

The scholarship includes free tuition and free housing.

Annual review and further requirement

Those who have been admitted to the Fujian Normal University Scholarship for Principals of International Students need to participate in the annual scholarship review held in May each year. Those who qualify in the review or pass it successfully can continue to study onto the scholarship.
