The Swedish International Development Agency’s (Sida) with the UNITAR cooperation provides a short term online course opportunity for women from Afghanistan and Iraq to build with professional knowledge, skills, and network. The Frontier Technology for Sustainable Development will help the applicants to explain and develop the organization’s success tools and business plans. Eligibilities:

  • Applicant’s age must be between 18 – 40 years
  • Applicants must be interested in the following areas:
  • Frontier Technology and innovation, engineering, SME development, digital economy, value-chain development, mentoring, and start-up.
  • Applicants must have a bachelor degree in information technology, engineering or business, computer programing, or related area.
  • Applicants from any province of the eligible countries can take part.
  • Must have at least a professional two years of work experience.
  • Applicants must work with a local or national organization in Afghanistan or Iraq.
  • The current position of the applicants must in a position related to the interested areas mentioned above.
  • Have excellent English skills (speaking and writing).
  • Have the ability to use Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to present in all online sessions even on holidays.
  • Must have a good state of health.
  • Applicants must have full support of their supervisor for attending this course.

  • Motivation letter including the participation reasons, examples of the harness artificial intelligence plane or frontier technology in address of development challenges in your home country through entrepreneurship and the description of a plan as an innovative, in technological area, and knowledge.
