WHY NOW? WHY YOUNG PEOPLE?
As far as, the COVID-19 crisis and the citizen-led movement to address racial injustice have magnified deep systemic splits and inequalities in our societies, and as we look towards our collective future, it’s vital that we reimagine and reconfigure how we live and work together.
As a global community, we need the unparalleled dexterity, creativity, and optimism of youth. With digital connectivity, inclusive approaches, demand for transparency, and deep worry about climate justice—along with the vision to realize and solve problems at a local level—young people are crucial to our recovery. For this reason, the IYF is organizing this summit.
Eligibility
Do you have a story of social change to tell? Can you share a model or strategy that has a positive impact on a societal problem? Or Can you teach other change makers a must-have skill?
If so, the IYF call for applications is inviting applications from:
- Young change makers aged 10 to 35.
- Individuals interested in leading a session as a storyteller, skill-builder, or strategist.
