Overview

Annually, many young students travel abroad to participate and experience an academic and new modern atmosphere for achieving a bright package of knowledge LEAD – Leadership Education to Assist Development_. The LEAD Camp is among those leading and liberal camps driving excellence and positive motivation in every aspect of participants’ lives, especially in conveying knowledge and training.

Objectives of the LEAD Camp:

It aims to promote “Cross-Cultural Understanding, English Language, Leadership Skills, Career and Education Consoling & Development Training among Youths.”

This 7-day event is self-financed, and applicants need to pay a fee of 300$ covering the following costs during the camp:

Eligibilities

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be able to pay $300
  • Be High School Students and 1st Year University Students who are 17 to 22 years’ old
  • Have proficiency in English (the language of all the training will be English)
  • Hold a passport (or set to receive one before December 15, 2020)
  • Have a good health condition and have his/her family consent to travel abroad
  • Be well-versed and disciplined and agree with all terms and conditions of the camp

What does the Camp include?

The camp comprises of two parts: academic and non-academic.

The academic parts (delivered before noon):

  • Leading and being a successful leader irrespective of your age
  • The fable reading on the significance of the change, how to change, and the process of change
  • Forming, managing, organizing, and leading a voluntary team effectively
  • Team Building, and how to be a supreme team player
  • Understanding your development levels in learning as well as your needs.
  • An introduction to Academic Writing and the principles (The writing contest)
  • Academic Reading and Reading tips and tricks (The reading competition)
  • Planning on and achieving educational and career goals (one-on-one and team counseling)
  • Public speech – Becoming a public speaker
  • Proposal writing for small grants and project design (
  • Upskilling (we will be choosing one skill that the majority of you want to learn. It can be storytelling, photography, painting, or …)
