Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL is thrilled to announced the master degree opportunity for afghan student for doing research in the areas of wheat on scholarship.

Fields of study:

  • Master degree in related fields to the WHEAT

Eligibility

  • Be committed to work with ministry of agriculture, irrigation and livestock
  • For male candidates, the permanent employees of directorate of Afghanistan agriculture research will be preferred. Female applicants are given exception from this rule.
  • 51% of this scholarship allocated for female applicants. Female applicants who have the following criteria and documents can apply whether they are employed or not.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in related fields of study with Average grade point of at least 75%
  • Have related academic and/or work experience
  • Applicants with skills in oral and written English will be preferred. To study abroad, it is necessary to be proficient in English language.
  • Commitment in agriculture development career in Afghanistan specially for supporting sub departments of wheat development by working in MAIL

Location to study:

1st: Agronomy master degree program at Kabul University

8 to 10 scholarships will be offered to the applicants starting their master degree program at Agriculture faculty in the year 2019.

2nd selection: International master program (India)

3 scholarships will be offered in indian accredited university starting in August 2019 in the following sections:

  1. Analysis and evaluation of wheat quality (1 scholarship)
  2. Wheat plant improvement emphasizing on quality betterment (1 scholarship)
  3. Soil science (1 scholarship)

  • Academic transcripts
  • Two recommendation letter
  • Certificate of employment in the ministry of agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock.
