About the internship

New Beginnings is now inviting applications for its internship program. This is an unpaid internship. And, internships are available for current college students, graduate students, and graduates less than 2 years post-graduation. Since 2016, New Beginnings has struggled to raise awareness and spread love to refugees around the globe.

The internship organizer is looking for individuals with skills and innovation to contribute to its outreach to the New Beginnings community who are mainly refugees.

Eligibility requirements

The host organization is looking for interns with the following qualities: 

• Social media experience and ability to create and schedule appealing posts for Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
• Experience with Canva/Photoshop/adobe for developing social posts
• Ability to create posts to promulgate interest
• Be able to keep and contribute to a social media editorial calendar
• Ability to publish content that’s interesting, attractive, and useful for refugees and the outside community
• Enthusiasm in refugees and other philanthropic issues around the world
• Ability to work distantly with a team
• Ability to participate in monthly meetings
• Contribute articles to the New Beginnings website about humanitarian issues using reliable sources
