The World Health Organization (WHO) organizing a long week program in Geneva Switzerland by supporting UN-OICT, UNAIDS, WFP, and UNICEF for a suitable solution for the health and wellbeing of young applicants and groups from all over the globe. Address the different social, economic, environmental, and commercial determinants of health where can build a confidential and supportive environment. Prepare your proposal and apply before the deadline.

Eligibilities:

  • Applicants can apply individually or with a group of up to 4 members.
  • No age limitation.
  • Each group or applicant can upload one application form.
  • Applicants must submit their application in their capacity, not as an organization representative.
  • Applicants from any part of the world can apply.
  • The preference will be given to those applications which demonstrate respect for gender diversity and involvement of young applicants and focused on impacts by or living with the issues, risks, disease, condition in the development of the respective solution.

Required documents:

  • Idea explanation including solutions or tools about 400 words
  • Self-introduction with explanation of solution of two minutes’ video.
  • Tools prototype or an online working solution or a video of it in action for about two min.
  • Solution source code, its refer to computer programs, etc.
  • Extra documents such as policy reform proposal about one page (optional).
  • All submissions should be the original work of applicants.

The solutions can be including:

  • Applications or games
  • Technologies, tools or platforms, products, or wearables.
  • New methodology to collaboration or communication, a new way to involve young people or other stakeholders.
  • Proposals of policy reform.
  • The submission proposal should focus on the engagement of young people from all over the globe.
  • The solutions should be related to health.
  • The innovation should have a positive impact on low-income countries or in high-income countries.
