Introduction to the program

In line with the United Nation’s lasting commitment to the inclusion of youth and sports as factors to maintain and promote international security, the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNOAC) is calling for applications from youths worldwide for the Online Consultation on Preventing Violent Extremism through Sport. This consultation forum will bring youths together to form an interactive, open, and all-inclusive platform for young players preventing violent extremism through sports to help them identify issues that preclude youths from meaningful inclusion in the decision-making process.

So, if you are a young person interested to play a role in deterring violent extremism through policymaking, creative programming, sharing of knowledge, and awareness-raising, do apply.
