Opportunity Description

Submissions are now open for the 2024-25 WISE Prize for Education awarded by the Qatar Foundation.

Since 2009, WISE has showcased 100+ global innovative solutions in education, many evolving to greater impact and collaboration with WISE. Now, WISE introduces the next generation of the WISE Prize, a singular initiative supporting finalists in addressing education challenges like AI, teaching Arabic, and foundational literacies.

Each finalist will receive $100,000 – $150,000 and tailored support, leading to the WISE12 Summit 2025, where the winning solution will be unveiled. The $1 million WISE Prize for Education is a conditional grant with naming rights for the winning solutions.

Who Can Apply?

Any legally registered education organization, including colleges, schools, governments, and nonprofits, that has been operational for at least 12 months can apply. Representation from all education sectors is welcome, and applications should be original works submitted by a project representative, ensuring WISE is not liable for third-party claims.

Representation from diverse education sectors—pre-primary, primary, secondary, tertiary, EdTech, vocational training, higher education, special needs education, informal learning, lifelong learning, and more—is encouraged to apply.
