The Yenching Academy annually accepts about 125 applicants from all over the world, interested and motivated applicants who wish to become a leader in their selected field of study  are highly encouraged to apply for this fully-funded program in China.

Eligibilities:

• The applicant’s age must not be over 28 years.
• Applicants must have a bachelor degree (any field)
• Applicants must have a good academic records
• Must be interested in the interdisciplinary study of China
• Must have a good record of extra activity achievements, social responsibilities, and community engagement.
• Have good leadership skills
• Applicants must be motivated

• Personal statement about 750 words
• Curriculum Vitae
• Diploma and transcript of enrolment
• Two recommendation letters
• English proof certificate:
  • IELTS, 7.0
  • TOEFL IBT 100
  • Cambridge English Scale 185
  • CEFR: C1 level
  • CET 6: 600
  • TEM 4: Pass level of “良好” or above

Note: Native speakers and those applicants who are studied their degree in English, are not required to provide the mentioned English documents.

Applications will be evaluated based on their academic merit, leadership potential, international experience, and long-term aspiration.
