It is a matter of happiness, that Afghan Youth are participating in global programs and training in different countries around the globe.

Asadullah Mohammadi, Co-founder of Scholarship for Afghanistan was selected to participate at CSO Partnership for Development Effectiveness (CPDE) Youth Constituency Global Meeting and Training on Effective Development Cooperation, organized in Plovdiv, Bulgaria from November 24-28, 2019.

The program was organized to gather 30 youth participants from around the globe to:

• Deepen the understanding of youth on CSO development effectiveness principles towards its realization among youth groups and organizations
• Discuss the present landscape and identify opportunities and challenges for youth in implementing CSO development effectiveness
• Further develop the constituencies sectorial guidelines
• Contribute to better membership engagement by having a collective process for establishing the coming year/s strategic planning.

Participants from Afghanistan, Argentina, Bulgaria, Chile, Cyprus, Germany, Fiji, Malawi, Micronesia, Palau, USA, Nepal, Tunisia, Lebanon, Kenya, Philippines, Macedonia, New Zealand, Cameroon, Austria attended at this meeting in Plovdiv- recognized as European Capital of Culture 2019.

Participating at the global events is providing the opportunity for us to learn from other young leaders coming from different backgrounds with precious experiences and to share our experience and represent Afghanistan to change the perspective of the World about the Country.
