Opportunity Description

Edinburgh University has offered part-time scholarships to students from low-income countries to pursue their master’s degrees online. The scholarship will cover all tuition fees for the academic year 2024-25. Afghan and international students starting any online part-time learning Master’s program can apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

You should fulfill these criteria to apply for the Edinburgh Global Online Learning Scholarships:

  • Scholarships available for online part-time Masters programs for the 2024-2025 session
  • Only programs at Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) Descriptor Level 11 are eligible
  • Some programs with “Masters” in the title may not be eligible if they are at SCQF Descriptor Level 12
  • Applicants must be nationals and residents of specific countries:
    • Eligible countries are based on OECD DAC categories: ‘Least Developed Countries,’ ‘Other low-income Countries,’ and ‘Lower Middle-Income Countries’

  • Applicants must have received an offer from the University of Edinburgh and either accepted it or intend to do so.
  • Must have an excellent academic background.
