The Logan Nonfiction program provides two terms fellowship program for international writers, photojournalists, filmmakers, podcasters and radio reporters and multimedia creators with professional work experience in relevant areas. The fellowship offers lodging, meals, workspace, professional supervisions, and community for 10 to 20 follows of 5 to 10 weeks in Carey institute for global good’s historic 100-acre campus in New York, USA. Applicants who meet the requirements can apply.

Eligibilities:

  • Nonfiction writers, photojournalists, documentary filmmakers, podcasters and radio reporters, multimedia creators from around the world.
  • Applicants with work experience in related areas.
  • Applicants with different backgrounds (from academics, memoirists, and non-professional journalists).
  • Your project focus can be on the conflict and security, democracy and governance, education, environment and climate change, food security, gender, race, sex, globalization, disability, health, exclusion and inequality, media and journalism, social justice and sustainability, and resilience. But it is not limited.
  • The program will accept applicants without consideration of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, marital status, ancestry, physical ability or disability, HIV status, or related status.

  • Successful applicants will be selected based on quality, relevance, professional experience, and promise of the applicant’s work.
