The University of Adelaide presents Adelaide Scholarships International to exceptional international graduates from anywhere to start their journey of Masters or Doctorate by research. All Discipline areas have awards.

Benefits:

  • Tuition fee (up to two years of Research Master’s degree, and up to three years for a Doctor of Philosophy (6 months possible extension))
  • Annually stipend of AUD $27,596 for living allowance (up to 2 years for Masters and up to 3 years for Doctor of Philosophy (6 months possible extension)). Plus, tax exemption is likely (with the approval of the Taxation Office).
  • Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), relocation and publication expenses coverage, and Worldcare policy.

Important Details:

  • November 2019: Applicants will be notified of the outcome
  • Between January 1st, 2020, and June 30th, 2020: Start of the research program.
  • Applicants will start their research and studies as soon as possible.

 

Eligibility:

  • Must be an international student
  • Citizens of any country except Australia and New Zealand
    • Those who have applied for citizenship but not yet accepted can apply.
  • Should only apply as “International Student”
  • Should have TOEFL/IELTS/Person Test of English/ Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English
  • Should have the equivalent of First Class Australian Honours Degree. (Taken after undergraduate studies and recognized as a prestigious qualification)
  • Must not hold a research qualification equivalent of the Australian Research Doctorate Degree or if applying for Masters, he/she must not hold the equivalent of the Australian Research Master’s degree.
  • Not possible to delay studies once accepted
  • The university can withdraw the scholarship at any time prior the enrollment.
  • If the applicant failed to complete the program, he/she will not be considered for any other future academic programs.
