The COVID-19 Operational Planning Guidelines free online course focuses on three model learning. Following, to introduce the context for the need for a cooperation global response plan to COVID_19 outbreaks. Moreover, the course provides planning guidelines to describe priority steps and actions, including in countries preparedness. As well as, response plans across the related areas. Besides, at the end of this course, participants will get familiar with UNCT lead planners and associated partners to assess and fill in capacity gaps following to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak. Above all, Interested participants can apply for free and complete 80% of the course will receive a certificate.

  • Support national readiness and preparedness for COVID-19
  • To help countries increase their capacity to response COVID-19
  • To build international coordination for responding, be prepared.
  • The cooperation process streamlines and helps countries preparedness levels.

Key learning objectives:

  • Ability to equip yourself and others about the importance of SPRP operation of COVID-19 outbreak and how to use the operational planning guidelines.
  • Eight primary pillars description of public health preparedness and response and initial actions that UN country teams will take.
  • Access to the full set of actions, performance indicators, and resources needed to conduct the preparedness level assessment using the COVID-19 partner’s platform for country preparedness and response plans.

Course consists:

  • First model: the first session will focus on purpose and context description for course learning package, leadership words related to COVID-19 knowledge.
  • Second model: in the second session, the course will focus on operational planning guidelines introduction to accompany country preparedness and responses and access to related information and documentation.
  • Also, third model: In the last class, the course will cover the technical deep dive into each of the 8 pillars of public health as well.
