Opportunity Description

The Future for Nature foundation award is an international award that aims to celebrate tangible achievements in conserving animal and plant species.

It is international support in a different area and connects the innovators with international conservation. Innovators in the mentioned area can apply.

Program purpose:

  • The future for nature awards wants to support individuals for their impressive jobs in the protection of species of wild animals and plants.
  • Provide the opportunity to encourage the applicants
  • The program will help the winners to improve their profile, expand their networks, strengthen their funding basis.

Location: Royal Burger’s Zoo in Arnhem, Netherlands

Number of the winner: 3

Eligibilities:

  • Applicant’s age must not be more 35 years
  • Must be interested, commitment, determination, and passion for conservation work.
  • Have leadership and entrepreneurship in conservation work.
  • Be creative and innovative
  • Must have previous experience in the performance of conservation work.
  • Applicants need to determine to continue the conservation work. (It will not be the end of the prize).
  • Must be proficient in the English Language
  • use the award as conservation of animal or plant species and conservation initiative.

How the project should be?

  • Create a project based on conservation work.
  • The project focus must be on conservation action with practical impact and can involve the component of fundamental research.
  • The proposal description must contain the species conservation activities

 

Selection process:

The participants will be evaluated due to the following criteria:

  • Leadership skills
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Substantial and long term effect on species conservation
  • Creativity and innovativeness
  • Cost-effectiveness
  • Intersegment to continue the work
  • Quality of the proposal.

  • Copy of passport or another Identification card
  • Birth certificate
