This festival is a wide-ranging festival of Media Arts that awards excellent works of arts in diverse categories (from animation and media art to comics and games). The previous festival (23rd) received more than 3,566 entries from 107 countries around the world.

The festival has four divisions.

1. Art (video works, media installations, interactive art, internet art, video installations, media performances, graphic art (including photographs) and etc.)
2. Entertainment
   1. Products (products utilizing media technologies, R&D devices, etc.)
   2. Applications
   3. Websites
   4. Games (video games, online games, etc.)
   5. Products (products utilizing media technologies, R&D devices, etc.)
   6. Multimedia productions, video/sound works (including performances, and special effects videos)
3. Animation
   1. Animated short films (including, ending videos, opening videos, etc.)
   2. Animated feature films
   3. Videos for streaming
   4. Animated TV series
4. Manga
   1. Comics published online (for mobile devices or computer)
   2. Self-published comics
   3. Comics published in a magazine including works still being serialized
   4. Comics published in a book form
   5. Etc.

• Deadlines:                          September 4, 2020
• Locations:                          Japan
• You can also participate as a group of 5 people maximum
• You can have multiple submissions but you cannot submit the same work in other categories.
