Opportunity Description

About the award

WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Youth Award is a leading international award that aims to empower and recognize young people who play an active role in the creation of a more sustainable future

Meeting the criteria for nomination, you can now nominate yourself or any other individual or organization for the 2022 WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Youth Award.  The award is presented to recognize the efforts and contributions of those who fight for sustainable acquaculture decisively and with a firm commitment.

Today, the world’s food production is responsible for around 25% of all greenhouse gas emissions and is the primary reason for the loss of biological diversity, deforestation and endangered fish stocks. To solve the world’s future food supply, we need to look into the possibilities – and challenges – that blue and green foods can provide.

The theme for WIN WIN Youth Award 2022 is “SUSTAINABLE AQUACULTURE.”.

Therefore, if you are an individual, organization or movement striving to work on sustainable aquaculture, in its all forms, you can nominate and win this award.
