Eligibilities:

  • Citizen of Canada, permanent resident, and International student can apply to this scholarship for the first of their Master’s degree and second year of their Ph.D. degree.
  • Students who received this scholarship in the previews year cannot apply.
  • Students who are enrolled or accepted for their graduate degree in a full-time study eligible to apply.

Selection process:

Students will be selected based on the following criteria:

  • Your submission documents with distinctions.
  • Your list of publications
  • Your work experience, leadership skills and performance, and social activities and implication.
  • Letter of reference qualifications.
  • Related topics for the Aluminum industry.

Required documents:

  • Acceptance letter or enrollment proof.
  • Cover letter including your name, your UBC number, UBC graduate program, name of your UBC supervisor, name of your references.
  • Research proposal/project description, including timelines no longer than four pages, with double space.
  • Academic transcript.
  • Two recommendation letters from your professor or research supervisor.
  • Recent Curriculum Vitae.
