About: OWSD-Elsevier Foundation awards women for the past many years, many talented women have been benefited by this award and raised women contribution in scientific researches.

If you are a qualified women from a developing country who have made significant contribution in the field of Engineering and Technology, you can apply to this Award.

You must have worked on researches and provide demonstrable regional and international influence, for achieving this award.

Note: Each year five awards are given to five deserving women on a three year cycle of scientific disciplines. Women, who got PhD not prior than 10 years are able to get this scholarship.

 Profit:

  • An amount up to USD 5,000 is for winner
  • travel costs are paid for each annual conference of American Association for the Advancement of Science ( AAAS)
  • Nominees will have the chance to attend workshops and sessions at the AAAS
  • Opportunity to create global network.

  • Be female scientist
  • obtained a PhD within last 10 years
  • Candidate must belong to eligible developing countries in Asia, Arabic regions, Africa, Latin America and Caribbean:

  • List of publication along with two reference letter
  • One supporting statement from any experts without referees
