Organization Description

Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) is a private research university based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1967, the Carnegie Institute of Technology merged with the Mellon Institute of Industrial Research, formerly a part of the University of Pittsburgh, to form Carnegie Mellon University. The university has seven colleges and independent schools, all of which offer interdisciplinary programs. Furthermore, The Neuroscience Institute of Carnegie Mellon brings together researchers from across the University to conduct multi-disciplinary work to advance the state of brain science.
