Sanayee Development Organization (SDO) is an Afghan development NGO, founded in 1990 in Peshawar – Pakistan, to serve Afghan refugees in there. SDO is named after a well-known Afghan poet Hazrat Hakeem Sanayee, (1088 – 1166 A.D.), one of Afghanistan’s most exceptional poets.

Thereafter, SDO extended its services and relocated to Kabul – Afghanistan In 2002, setting forth the mission to contribute to the emergence of a peaceful, advanced and self-sustaining Afghan society through the providing services to vulnerable and underprivileged people in remote and underserved rural areas of the country in the sectors of Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation, Health, Education and Community Development.
