Opportunity Description

The Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice is provided a unique and valuable opportunity for international women who are working to making peace in their local societies. The fellowship aims to bring together international and qualified women peacebuilders to work practically, conduct relevant researches, and increase their skills and make them more powerful. So if you are working in an organization and struggling to make a positive impact and meet other eligibility, you can apply to this one year and fully-funded program.

What will applicants gain:

  • Applicants will engage with international participants and gain expert knowledge and experience.
  • Gathering interesting and significant perspectives, support, and innovative approach through peacebuilding.
  • Build a valuable network with international peacebuilders.
  • Will conduct proper research in peacebuilding, focusing on shifting practice and policy.

Focus area of the fellowship:

  • The fellowship will focus on how the international organization of peacebuilding can work with local women peacebuilders to make an impact and address the adjacent spaces and increased insecurity women are currently face while working to put an end on the violence.

Eligibilities:

  • Applicants or international organizations must work at least more than ten years through peacebuilding in their local peacebuilding contexts directly.
  • Must have excellent skills and attitudes of peacebuilding or peacemaking.
  • Must be able to attend all activities of this one-year fellowship.
  • Applicants must work with an international organization that is working through peace and focused topics of the fellowship.
  • Must have a good network within her country or community.
  • Must have strong skills in English.

Four streams work of fellowship:

  • Residency
  • Learning lab retreat
  • Local insight sharing and partnership building project
  • Develop and promote forward applied research outputs

  • Describe your current and experience related to peacebuilding in your home country and explain the impact and outputs in 2500 words.

  • Update Curriculum Vitae, including your peacebuilding activities and educational background no longer than three pages.
  • Two reference information
  • Details of your international partners.
