Opportunity Description

Shandong University, which is launched in 1901 under the direct jurisdiction of the ministry of education of China, is outstanding with strong influence both in China and foreign countries. SDU signed cooperation agreements with more than 200 schools, institutes, and universities in over 30 countries and regions.

Different type of scholarship is available at SDU university to cover your living and studying expenses while conducting your master degree in China for international students. Eligible and interested applicants must check the details and apply.

Registration fee: 400 RMB and will be paid after arriving at SDU.

Eligibilities for Master degree:

  • Applicants must not be from China.
  • Must be in a good state of health.
  • Applicant’s age must be between 18 to 35 years old.
  • Must complete their bachelor degree with excellent records. (If not graduated yet, please provide documents to certify your situation.)
  • Must have excellent English or Chinese language skills.

Required documents:

  • Reference letter.
  • Language proficiency documents:
    • Chines: level 5 of HSK 210 or higher, (applicants who studied their higher degree in Chinses language do not require to provide language documents, submit the official proof.)
    • English: TOEFL IBT 80 or higher, IELTS 6.0, or relevant certificate. (native speakers and applicants who studied their highest degree in English do not submit the language proficiency document. Only provide the official proof.)
  • First page or information page of your passport (the validation of your passport must be at least six months).
  • Two recommendation letters from an associate professor or above.
  • Essay (s) or graduation monograph abstract or list of publications (if available).
  • Certificate of employment (optional).
  • Bachelor degree certificate and transcript or proof of the expected graduation date.
  • Personal statement (including self-introduction, the reason for applying for SDU, your interest area, or any motivational statements you want to tell for the selection committee.)
  • Health certificate (valid for six months).
  • After receiving the re-offer letter, you may need to provide the funding documents, such as bank statements.
  • Any other supporting documents.

Note:

  • The whole documents must be in English or Chinse.
  • Incomplete documents will not be considered.

  • Apply for a study visa at the Chinese Embassy/Consulate/Visa Center in your home country with admission notice and JW 201/202 Form.
